Rare vintage Cornavin watch for the blind

Characteristics

Description

Rare vintage Cornavin watch, a well-known Rocket-based version, for blind and visually impaired people. Dial with raised markers, opening front cover for telling the time by touch. The dial says 17 jewels and shockproof, and the case back says stainless steel Cornavin. The case has signs of age, scuffs, and patina, which is normal for such a vintage item. An interesting piece for a collection or restoration.
